Prof. Stephen P. Ferris

Stephen Ferris

Dr. Stephen Ferris is the Bryan Dean of the Miller College of Business and Professor of Finance. Previous to his current appointment, Dr. Ferris was Dean of the College of Business at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and interim dean of the Trulaske College of Business, University of Missouri. He has held academic appointments at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, University of Memphis, Duquesne University, and the University of Pittsburgh.  He is the former president of both the Midwest Finance Association and the Eastern Finance Association. He has published over 160 refereed articles and has served as editor of several academic journals including  The Financial Review. His research areas include corporate finance, governance, international business, and behavioral finance. He received his Ph. D from the University of Pittsburgh, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, an MSS from the U.S. Army War College,  and a BA from Duquesne University.

 

 

 

Prof. Tobias Gößling

Tobias Gößling is a distinguished Professor of Business Ethics at KEDGE Business School in Marseille, France. He is also a Visiting Professor of Critical Thinking at Bucharest University in Romania and Visiting Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility at Prigo University in the Czech Republic. With a focus on the relationship between organizations and societies, Tobias’ work explores the topics of legitimacy and communication. He is actively engaged in advising businesses and public administration, particularly in the field of sustainable development. Tobias is an accomplished scholar, serving as an associate editor for Springer Nature Business and Economics and a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Business Ethics. He has previously served as a board member for the European Business Ethics Network. Tobias’ is a member of the Academy of Management and the European Group of Organization Studies. He is also a member of Scientists 4 Future, an organization dedicated to promoting science-based sustainability initiatives.
