We would advise places close to the subway line (which means looking for hotels north of SGH-conference site-) or near the tram line.

150 Euro – 200 Euro (when booked earlier, located in the city centre)

Novotel Warszawa Centrum (located very near to a Central Metro (subway) Station)

Hampton by Hilton
Mercure Centrum
Leonardo Hotel Warsaw

Radisson Blue

100 Euro – 150 Euro
MDM (located near 1 station from SGH, or, alternatively, a walk mostly trough a park)
Hotel Chmielna (a bit farer, but located in the old part of the City Centre – a nice walk from the Central Metro (subway) Station)
Hotel Reytan (walking distance – the closest hotel to SGH)
Hotel Metropol (located near Central Metro (subway) Station; a closest option to the Main Railway Station )
Sound Garden Hotel Airport (not so well connected when it comes to public transport, a good, no-fuss option for participants with cars)
Budget: 50 Euro – 100 Euro (per 2 nights, double room)
Premiere Classe Varsovie/Warszawa (one has to take a tram and metro, or use both subway lines – but, certainly, it is doable)
  • there are single rooms in other places, like OSiR Polna (onesubway station from SGH, hostel) or Lokum Hotel (a hotel close to a large hospital); an option is to rent an apartment for a few days (under 100 Euro or slight above – for 2 nights) – the specifics of Mokotów, where SGH is located, is that it is much easier to find one than a hotel

Student dorms – unfortunately, SGH does not have a lanrge campus and only two dormitories with limited space are availble. In particular, there are 5 twin rooms (with bathrooms; pictures: available for open rent, but since the conference takes place in July, a bit more rooms might be available (but majority of them with a shared bathroom). The price is 80 PLN (a little bit less than 20 EUR) per night per room for Monday-Thursday and 160 PLN per night for Friday-Sunday. Therefore, a two-person stay from Thursday to Saturday would be close to 60 Euro.
